The Blackwood Equestrian Center pastures are some of the lushest and greenest expanses of grass any horse could ask to run free in. The BEC pastures are as follows: three two acre pastures for groups of up to six horses; two half acre pastures for pairs of horses; and two quarter acre pastures for horses that require solitary turnout. Horses are turned out three times a week for five hours and allowed to run, socialize, and eat their fill. Maintenance is mostly taken care of by hungry horses but the pastures are mowed once a month.
